Microclimate Maps

This map depicts the temperature readings around the campus including heat vents near the buildings.
A special tool was used to make a contour map based on the temperature points around campus. The software uses interpolation to estimate the values between the data points.
This is another temperature map which excludes the building vents which gets rid of the outliers in the data and gives a more accurate range of data values.
This is another temperature contour map which includes the building vents and therefore skews the data and gives a different display than the one above.
This map uses graduated symbols to display wind speed around campus. The biggest values are located on top of the hill and down by the river.
Here is a wind contour map which gives a better indication of the windier spots around campus.
